Make the banks hear you

Occupy Wall Street sometimes seems to be disoriented but the common thread is that the banks have fucked the American economy and destroyed the middle class. To pour salt into that wound, the American working class was forced to reimburse the banksters for the money that they stole.  The banks thanked us by raising our interest rates and freezing our credit, all the while, paying themselves obscene bonuses for their incompetence and greed.

The right wing is trying to paint OWS protesters as a war against wealth. Nothing could be further from the truth. What the left wants is for the wealthy to pay their fair share of operating the government of the United States. Reagan brought us trickle down economics. The insane idea that if we give more wealth to those who are already incredibly rich, they will use that money to create jobs which will eventually help the peasants.

They created jobs alright. They created millions of jobs in India and China and each of those offshore jobs was taken away from an American. The only thing that tricked down from Reagan was that effuse which escaped from that senile old fools diaper.

Not everyone can travel to New York to join the protest. You are in luck because OWS is spreading across the country. The movement is becoming more organized and has the potential to become a liberal version of the Tea Party.

There is another thing that you can do to get the banks attention. Move your accounts! If you have money in Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Chase, Goldman Sachs or Morgan Stanley, move that money to a local bank or a credit union. These small institutions also offer credit cards so start using those cards instead of those from the bankster companies. This is a boycott that will be heard right now and will send a clear message to the banksters that we are not going to take it anymore.

Occupy Wall Street - The American Spring

The Occupy Wall Street protests are finally getting some much deserved media coverage. The movement is growing and spreading daily. In the beginning the media simply refused to cover the story. Not surprising, since most of the media is part of the corporate world that destroyed the economy. The New York Times was one of the worst offenders. They did not even acknowledge the protests outside of their blogs. Then the NYPD saved the day by arresting 700 people. It was a blatant attempt to intimidate the protesters but it forced the media to cover it. That coverage caused support to grow and the movement began to spread around the country. 

The coverage was in huge contrast to the fawning coverage given to the tea baggers. Each time a dozen baggers showed up with their mullets and their misspelled signs, every network had  camera crews on the scene.

Now the NYPD has changed tactics. The police are becoming more violent in their actions against peaceful protests. They are trying to force the protesters to respond in kind. The NYPD wants to turn incredibly peaceful protests into a riot. That will allow them to move in with force to end the protests. 

We saw the same tactics during the Vietnam war protests. Cops would move in and start bashing peaceful kids in the head with their clubs. The kids would respond by throwing rocks and bottles at the cops and the riot was on. To their credit, today's protesters are not taking the bait and each day the NYPD looks more like a bunch of brutal fascists.

This movement could be the beginning of the American Spring, where the working man takes government back from his corporate overlords. 

America has been in transition, from a country with a strong middle class, into a country made up of an aristocracy and a peasantry. It is about time that the people stood up.

Out of work? Nobody cares

The republicans want you to be out of work. High unemployment makes for a cheap work force. Corporations can slash your pay and halt benefits and you can't do a fucking thing about it because you need that job. High unemployment makes it easy for corporations, like Verizon, to destroy unions because there are plenty of people who would be happy to take your job for lower wages if your walk out.

During the Clinton administration, Americans were working. Head hunters flourished as they tried to entice workers to leave their present job. Employers were forced to offer workers better pay and more benefits to compete. Those days are gone.

All of the blame cannot be placed on republicans. Obama has mostly pursued a Reaganesque policy of trickle down economics and the democrats are terrified at the prospect of being labeled as liberals in a country that has swung horrifyingly to the right.

So, the bottom line is that if you are out of work, you are fucked. Nobody cares and nobody is working on your behalf.

Ten years ago today, Arabs, using money and men from Saudi Arabia, launched attacks inside the United States. The world was aghast at the senseless violence. Even in Tehran the people held candlelight vigils in the street. The world was behind us as we launched air attacks in Afghanistan in support of the Northern Alliance. The world cheered as we helped the Northern Alliance drive the al Qaeda supporting Taliban from power. From that point forward it was one Bush administration fuck-up after another.

Cheney decided to take advantage of the nationwide fear to implement the Project for a New American Century's plan to turn the United States into a world empire. They turned their attention to the Iraq oil fields and transformed Saddam Hussein, from the kind of brutal dictator that America usually adores, into a threat to world peace and conspirator in the Trade Center attacks. Weapons of mass destruction lies bought the support of most Americans but few other countries. Since Iran was #2 on the PNAC hit list, the administration began to vilify Iran and included that country in the 'axis of evil', despite the fact that Iran was largely supportive of America and the attacks on Afghanistan. 

The invasion of Iraq was a quick success, but the occupation has been a never ending disaster. The success in Afghanistan was quickly negated when the Bush administration abandoned the Northern Alliance, who had done most of the fighting and installed a, generally hated, puppet regime to run the country. 

The Bush greed and war mongering destroyed the United States position of respect and we became, almost universally, despised around the world. 

In a few short years, Bush took us from being a prosperous, peace loving country into being a bankrupt war mongering country. 

The terrorists are responsible for the murder of no more than 6,000 people around the world while Bush murdered a half million or more people with his quest to dominate the Middle East. Yes, the Bush administration was more evil than al Qaeda. 

Unions and Teachers

If you work a 40 hour work week - Thank the unions.
If your employer pays for your health care - Thank the unions.
If your work place is safe - Thank the unions.
If you get vacation time - Thank the unions.
If your pay is enough to support your family - Thank the unions.

None of these things existed until workers banded together and demanded it.

If you can read and write and understand the world around you - Thank the teachers.

No other college educated group of professionals has ever done so much for America and received so little in return.

If you think that you deserve none of the things listed above, be sure to vote for a republican.

If you think all of the things listed above are evil, be sure to vote for a libertarian.

John Birch Society = Tea Party = Libertarians

In 1958, a bunch of libertarians came together and formed the John Birch Society. The goal of the Birchers was to convince the American people that every person in America who is to the left of Mussolini was a communist. In the beginning the JBS was embraced by mainstream republicans but within a few years their paranoid delusions chased away even the uber right, like William F. Buckley. Before Reagan, Dwight Eisenhower was the official republican deity. When the Birchers claimed that Eisenhower was actually a full blown communist, many of their more sane followers departed JBS. The darling of JBS was Joseph McCarthy.

Outside of finding a communist under every rock, the JBS dedicated themselves to opposing civil rights, especially integration, women's rights, regulation of capitalism and people who worshiped in the wrong religion.

So, we end up with a group of people who are the ideological twins of the Ku Klux Klan, but with a more socially acceptable face. They justified their racism by claiming that the civil unrest of the 60s was a communist movement. JBS was a racist, anti feminist, fundamentalist christian  group of haters.

The founder and leader of the John Birch Society was Robert Welch. Another founder and financial backer was Fred Koch of Koch Industries. Two of his sons, commonly referred to as the Koch Brothers, were integral to the founding and financial support of the Tea Party. It seems that each time the organization becomes socially vile, they reappear with a new name.

KKK > John Birch Society > Tea Party. The latter two are generally strong followers of Ayn Rand. Only the focus has changed. The KKK focused on racism. The John Birch Society focused on communists. The Tea Party focuses on anti-government. Ideologically, they are more similar than they are different.

This brings us to Ron Paul. Paul published many racist rants in his newsletters. One condemned Ronald Reagan for signing the legislation making Martin Luther King's birthday a national holiday. He proclaimed it to be a national Hate Whitey Day. Paul has denied writing the newsletters and his libertarian followers believe him. Here is what they must swallow. It was Paul's newsletter. It is operated by Paul family members. It carried Paul's byline. It never published a retraction of the racist articles. For him to be unaware, then Ron Paul must have allowed some anonymous ghost writer to write words under Paul's own name which he NEVER read and nobody ever pointed out to him. I'm afraid I have to call bullshit on that one.

Paul claims that he has never been a member of the John Birch Society, but admits that he counts many of its leaders as his close friends. What is true about Paul is that he is a racist, anti feminist, corporatist, christian fundamentalist. Ron Paul is the ONLY elected official who receives a grade of 100% from JBS.

Hermann Goering

In this excerpt from Gilbert's book on Goering, we can gain a great deal of insight into how wars are begun,

During the Nuremberg trials Hermann Goering was interviewed by an army psychologist named Gustave Gilbert. Gilbert later transcribed his interviews and incorporated them in his book, 'Nuremburg Diary'.

Sweating in his cell in the evening, Goering was defensive and deflated and not very happy over the turn the trial was taking. He said that he had no control over the actions or the defense of the others, and that he had never been anti-Semitic himself, had not believed these atrocities, and that several Jews had offered to testify on his behalf.

Later in the conversation, Gilbert recorded Goering's observations that the common people can always be manipulated into supporting and fighting wars by their political leaders:

We got around to the subject of war again and I said that, contrary to his attitude, I did not think that the common people are very thankful for leaders who bring them war and destruction.

"Why, of course, the people don't want war," Goering shrugged. "Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece. Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship."

"There is one difference," I pointed out. "In a democracy the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare wars."

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger.

It works the same way in any country."

New Balance - Made in America

I have worn New Balance athletic shoes for as long as I can remember. Last week I was visiting the New Balance web site and discovered, much to my amazement, that New Balance is the only athletic shoe that is still manufactured in the United States. 

At a time when American industry is outsourcing our jobs to China and India as fast as they can, I felt obligated to give a plug to a company that places American workers over profits. While other scumbag companies employ overseas workers at near slave wages, we have a company here who makes a great product and employs Americans to make that product.

Obama caves again

Once again Obama allowed himself to get involved in a dog fight with republicans. The problems is that the republicans brought a pit bull and Obama entered a kitten. Back in December, when Obama caved on extending tax cuts for billionaires, a reporter asked him why he didn't include a hike in the debt ceiling as part of the negotiations. Obama's naive response was that nobody would ever allow the US to go into default and destroy the economy. Doah!
 

The republicans do want to destroy the United States. They want to remake this country into a one party fascist empire. The GOP was perfectly willing to destroy the entire economy rather than give up a single concession to the president. Obama was simply outclassed from beginning to end. 

One of the items Obama conceded to was the seemingly unconstitutional super congress. Six members from each party will decide on massive budget cuts and their decision cannot be voted down or vetoed. What the fuck? 

Here is what is going to happen. If the super congress cannot come to an agreement, automatic draconian cuts will kick in that will devastate the middle class. The tea bagging republicans have no reason to negotiate because draconian cuts are exactly what the mother fuckers are after. Democrats will have no choice but to give them everything they demand, including making the billionaire tax cuts permanent.

Barack Obama is an embarrassing failure.

The Empire of the United States

You cannot become an empire without waging war. The Project for a New American Century is a blueprint for turning the US into a Fascist Empire. Even though The Project was honed and defined during the Reagan years, it wasn't  given complete control over all US foreign affairs until the Bush administration.

Bush populated the cabinet of his administration with people directly from The Project. 

An empire seeks to dominate the resources of conquered countries. A fascist empire turns those resources over to the giant corporations who control the government. The cost of these 'never ending' wars always falls onto the backs of the commoners, and never onto those who make huge profits from the wars. 

If I have to choose just one reason to be disappointed in Obama, it would be his failure to reverse our direction toward world domination.

What is most dangerous, coal or nuclear?

That is a difficult question to answer. In the short term, coal is worse. Burning coal is the most filthy way to create energy on the face of the earth. Burning coal poisons the air, the water and the ground. A few years back, when the tide was turning against the use of coal, the industry mounted a spectacularly successful ad campaign to change public opinion. The ads championed 'clean coal energy'. The ads were all lies. The clean coal plants mentioned in the ads do not exist. Not only is there not one single clean coal facility under construction, there is not even one in any sort of advanced planning stage. The American public was sold a huge lie, and they bought it hook, line and sinker.

The only good thing you can say about coal is that within a few years after its use is discontinued, the planet will make a complete recovery. That will probably not occur until after the human race has perished.

Nuclear power plants, on the other hand, create a byproduct that is the most poisonous substance known to mankind. Even if a nuclear plant never has a meltdown, it is creating a poison that will still be toxic in 10,000 years. Most of that toxic waste is stored at the generating plant. That is because nobody wants that shit stored near their home.

When you have a nuclear meltdown, like the one occurring now in Japan, that poison is released into the environment. Right now, Fukushima has thousands of tons of highly radioactive water that has flooded the plant. That water is leaking into the land, the air, the ground water and the sea. It is a disaster of biblical proportions that is underway right now. When it is done, Chernobyl will look like a minor glitch.Within a few months, you will see ads from the nuclear energy like those that fooled people into thinking coal was safe.

What we need is a NASA style program, funded with tens of billions of dollars, to develop clean energy that can replace oil, coal and nuclear. Unfortunately, we have lobbyists with deep pockets who will bribe your elected officials to make sure that never happens.

One thing that you can be sure of. When there is a massive nuclear meltdown in the US, the cleanup will be at the expense of the taxpayer, and not at the expense of the folks who have made billions from their unsafe plants.

The great stock market crash of 2011

The economy is in shambles. The middles class is disappearing. There are no jobs. Recent college graduates are taking minimum wage jobs. Yet, the stock market is hovering around 12,000. Why? It is because the stock market is the biggest Ponzi scheme ever devised.

Do you remember the dot com bust? That was when investors finally realized that a company which never earned a dollar, and had no plans to make a profit, might not actually be worth two billion dollars. People buy stocks because they think the market is going to go up. And it usually does. Until it crashes.

Giant corporations have fixed the prices on energy, phones, insurance, health care and food. The middle class is bleeding to death. There is no hope in sight for the bleeders but the corporations are making record profits. Once the middle class is dead, who will buy the products that the giants sell? Nobody, is the correct answer. That is when the market will collapse. That is when the credit cards will go unpaid. 

We have an economy that is entirely based on the availability of cheap labor. That is a death cycle for America. Cheap labor has no money to buy corporate products. The solution is to create lots of good paying jobs. Unfortunately, neither republicans or democrats have any interest in doing that. 

The Romans and the Christians

Christianity, above all, is a religion born of martyrdom. If they did not believe that Jesus was martyred, there would be no christianity. 

We have to take a step back and look at why the Romans tried to oppress the christians. The Romans knew that they could not succeed if they banned the religions of conquered nations. They were notoriously tolerant of other religions because it made occupation of the conquered country easier. Battling long held religious beliefs was a losing proposition. Early christians found the nudity and sex taking place in the Roman baths abhorrent.  As a result, they forbid bathing by their members. They were also pacifists and would not accept anyone who had killed into their cult. Since soldiers had either killed or were likely to kill, soldiers could not join and christians could not become soldiers. To a Roman, the only thing more important than cleanliness was the pride they took in serving as soldiers. To most of the citizens of Rome, christians were seen, literally, as stinking cowards. The revulsion of Romans for christians caused the cult to go underground. This secrecy added to the rumors swirling about the evil deeds of christians.

Since martyring oneself was a guaranteed entry into heaven, many christians were all too happy to die for their religion. One Roman emperor once quipped, if they want to die, why can't they just jump off a cliff instead of forcing us to do it for them? The common method of carrying out a death sentence was to place them in an arena to be torn apart by wild animals. That was not a punishment for christians, but for criminals in general.

Over the next 200 years, Rome weakened and the Jesus myth grew. I say myth because Jesus does not appear anywhere in recorded history. There is a mention of him by Josephus, but historians largely consider that to be a forgery. The first gospels to mention Jesus were written two generations after his supposed martyrdom. The period in which Jesus is said to have lived was recorded by many contemporary historians and the idea that such an important leader could have missed being noted is pretty far fetched. My personal belief is that Jesus was morphed out of stories of John the Baptist and they are, in fact, the same person. They simply took stories of John, then added a magical birth and a magical death to make him fit Jewish biblical prophecies. 

The demise of the union

What is made in America? Precious little, as free trade has encouraged corporations to flee to offshore production. The cheap Chinese crap that you buy today is made with near slave labor and no laws to protect the environment.

Unions are the number one barrier to protect us from creeping fascism. A corporation cannot slash staff, wages and benefits when the workers are organized. That is why unions are under siege by the republican party. It is just another step towards corporate domination of the working class. Republicans want American workers to be out of work so the corporate world has easy access to a cheap labor base who cannot afford to quit when they are abused. 

As evil and diabolical as the republicans are, the democrats are certainly not a beacon of hope. As campaigns depend more and more on the corporate dollar, the less the democrats are willing to support the working people. If you are a liberal in America, you have no voice in government. If you work for a living, you have no hope. 

Fukushima meltdown

Within a few hours after the giant tsunami hit Japan, three of the nuclear units suffered a complete meltdown. It is likely that all of the fuel melted, passing completely through the pressure vessel and down into the containment building. The containment building is severely flooded and water is still being pumped into it. By June 20th this highly contaminated water will begin to overflow and run into the ocean, creating a nuclear disaster of biblical proportions.

Be sure to keep track of this on the news. Oh wait, you can't because the news media is too busy covering Congressman Weiner's dick to cover the most dangerous event taking place anywhere in the world. Perhaps they will warn you sometime before massive amounts of radiation reach California.

Palestinian Ghetto gets a door

Egypt has ended its blockade of the Gaza Strip. Israel is outraged. How dare Egypt treat those people like they are human! 

The ultra right wing Likud Party enjoys using the same tactics that were used against them in 1935. You would expect Israel to be the last country on earth to oppress an entire population, including their children. Israel subscribes to the dogma of punishing all of the people for the actions of a few. 

Palestinians should all sew gold stars on their clothing to remind Israel of its heritage.

Democrats win NY district 26!!!

Kathy Hochul kicked some republican butt in New York today. She campaigned hard against GOP attempts to destroy Medicare. Queue up the theme for 2012.  I think that the Ryan budget is going to haunt republicans for two very long years. Each one of the little fucks is going into the 2012 elections with an albatross around their necks.

If you have any doubts about the significance of this election, read on. NY 26 has 30,000 more republicans than democrats. Hochul was outspent by a margin of 2 to 1. This is one of those districts where democrats did not stand a chance of winning. This is a mandate against the republican war on the middle class.

Tomorrow you will see republican after republican getting in front of any camera they can find to denounce the Ryan budget.

The seat was previously held by Christopher Lee (below), famous for his shirtless Craigslist photos where he solicited females and transgender males for sex.  It came as no surprise that Lee was the darling of the christian right and a resident of the holier than thou, C Street.

Tim Pawlenty - A child molesters best friend

As governor of Minnesota, Tim Pawlenty saw fit to pardon Jeremy Giefer.  Giefer had been convicted of fucking a 13 year old girl. Of course that is rape. When Giefer got out of jail, he married the girl who was now 14. What the fuck? 14! Married to a 14 year old! How is that not reason to send him back to prison? Turns out the little girl was pregnant with Giefer's child so the governor considered that marrying her was a magnanimous act.

No criminal has a higher recidivism rate than child molesters. They are almost CERTAIN to re-offend. As it turns out, Giefer was no exception to that rule. Giefer was arrested for fucking his own daughter, the child of his earlier rape victim. He began ordering her to perform oral sex on him when she was 9 and continued having sex with her until she was 16 and reported him.

Giefer sought the pardon so that his wife could open a child care center in their home! Way to go Pawlenty! Nothing like providing the man with a fresh stream of new victims. 

Update: The child care center has been closed and an investigation begun. Giefer was out on bail and ordered to stay away from his daughter. He violated those terms when he met with her and attempted to get her to retract her accusations. Giefer was rearrested and had his bail increased to one million dollars. Tim Pawlenty is still free.

Poor Paul Ryan. He is getting hammered from both sides in his fight to destroy Medicare. The worst from Newt who called the plan, right wing social engineering. Republicans screeched at Gingrich for the comments, then fled from Ryan's plan like rats leaving a sinking ship.

The Ryan plan is simple. Turn all of the Medicare funds over to private insurance companies and count on their humanitarianism to protect the elderly.  None of the republican fascists want to discuss any mechanism that would be put into place to make sure that every senior was covered. That is because there are none. Given that the health care monopolies are some of the most evil and greedy people on earth, good luck. The fact is that the voucher plan would destroy Medicare and leave old folks with no health care. GOP win!

A few years ago, the fascists would not have dared to offer such a plan. The AARP was a very strong lobby that protected the interests of retired people. Today, AARP has morphed into a pimp for the insurance industry, running thousands of television ads trying to con old folks into buying insurance from companies that pay kickbacks to AARP. Now days, the best benefit you can get from your AARP membership card would be to wipe your ass with it.

Rapture fizzles

Legions of brain dead christians woke up this morning to find themselves still glued to the earth. Rational people were not surprised, but many of us were disappointed. The world would have become a much better place if hoards of fundamentalists had departed. If the world could be shed of fundamentalist christians, muslims and jews, we might actually have peace break out around the world. Imagine, a world without religious hatred, racism and bigotry. 

This is the second time that idiot Harold Camping got his prediction wrong. His 1994 scam was written off as a mathematical error and his simple minded followers continued to enrich the old man. Camping based his timeline on a date that was exactly 7,000 years after the great flood. A flood that every single geologist will tell you never, ever happened in the first place.

That is what happens when you place your faith in a book of fables that was written thousands of years ago by a bunch of ignorant middle eastern goat herders.

Fallout continues

You wouldn't know it by watching the news in this country, but the situation at the Japanese nuclear power plant is still extremely dangerous. Just as with the huge BP oil spill, MSM has tired of this story quickly. 

Just as I predicted earlier, the utility has asked the people of Japan to pay for its own negligence. They must think that they are Goldman Sachs. How about forcing the board and shareholders to return all of the profits they have hauled in from the plant since it started.

The plant is still spewing radiation into the air, the sea and the ground water. many of the workers trying to prevent a complete meltdown will likely die from their exposure. Homeowners for hundreds of square miles will never be able to return home.

Do you know who is not putting themselves in danger? The corporate owners and top management. If there was justice, they would take the CEO and the board of directors and chain them to the door of the most dangerous reactor. After a few days, it would be fun to get their opinion of reactor safety.

War is profitable

Of course war is not profitable to the boys we send to die in it. War is not profitable to the kids who come home mangled and limbless. And, no way is war profitable to the American people who are taxed to death to pay for it. War is not profitable for the hundreds of thousands of civilians who are killed and wounded.

War is very profitable if you manufacture the hardware used in war. War is very profitable if you are a provider of logistics for war. War is very profitable if you are a giant corporation who is allowed to plunder the resources of the conquered land.

Now, guess which of these groups have the ear of our government.

Half mast flag

Springfield, Ohio.  A hotel in Springfield was trying to replace their flag when the flagpole rope broke, stranding the flag halfway down. This caused many of the town folks to assume that the flag had been lowered to mourn Osama bin Laden. They began making hateful calls to the hotel and the local newspaper.  WTF? How stupid are the people of Springfield? It boggles the mind as to how these simpletons could make such a leap in judgement. After hotel employees explained the mishap, the irate citizens went back to watching Fox News.

By definition, half the people in this country have a below average IQ.

Intelligent Design

Have you ever noticed that the people who claim that humans came from intelligent design, are always the least intelligent of the species? 

If man was indeed designed by a god, then he must have been a really stupid motherfucker. There are no other animals on the face of the earth that are as flawed as the human animal. They claim that this god person created us in his own image. Since I first heard that, I imagined a great bearded man with these giant painful hemorrhoids hanging out of his ass. Does god have allergies? Headaches? Has he ever had cancer surgery? Been addicted to cocaine? Murdered children? Oh yeah, that's right, he murders lots of children each time he gets pissed off. When he isn't in the mood to murder children himself, he orders some woman in Texas to murder her own children in his name.

The sad truth is that man is just an ape that evolved with a larger brain than the other apes. Big enough to be curious, but not big enough to answer all the questions. The first god was probably invented the first time that this intelligent ape saw lightning and heard thunder. People ask, "If there is no god, then what is the meaning of life?" The meaning of life is the same for all living things on this planet, propagation of the species. Victory!

Osama bin Laden is dead. Now is the perfect time to declare victory and get the fuck out of the middle east.

We went into Afghanistan to punish al Qaeda for 9-11. Well, al Qaeda is no longer prominent in Afghanistan so the military industrial complex morphed the action into war with the Taliban. 

Then President Retardo decided to invade Iraq, for reasons known only to Dick Cheney, Halliburton and Exxon. The campaign in Iraq has been the most embarrassing military failure since Vietnam. We turned the country over to the people of Iraq, yet 50,000 troops remain behind. These troops are there to protect the interests of the oil company war sponsors.

The Cheney war mongers then began rattling their sabres at Iran. Another oil rich country came under the sights of the oil company war sponsors.

Now we are waging a murderous campaign in Libya.

Outside of the initial campaign to punish al Qaeda, every act of war we have become involved in has been for access to oil.

Americans should demand that we declare victory and remove our kids from that vile part of the world. If they were serious about trying to fight terrorism, we would be taking the fight to the people who fund terrorism, mostly the Saudis. If we responded to each terror attack by launching a cruise missile into a random Saudi palace, we might actually see some results.

Osama bin Laden Dead

Nearly 9 years after Bush allowed bin Laden to escape from Tora Bora, the head of al Qaeda has been killed. 

Does US Libya policy include murdering children?

Is it now OK to murder children to achieve your military goals? The entire world was horrified at the massacre by US soldiers at My Lai, Vietnam. Of course that was pre-Bush/Cheney. Now the US seems to just casually refer to the murder of civilians as "collateral damage". So I guess now we will just shrug away the deaths of children. 

These murdered children should be brought to the US and laid on the steps of the Whitehouse.

Stock market - biggest Ponzi scheme of them all

The stock market is nothing more than a huge Ponzi scheme. In a stable market, the selling price of a company's stock would represent the value of that company plus any expected increase in earnings. Ha ha ha.

On any given day, the market might lose 2% based on facts that have nothing to do with the potential of the company. We can get a bad report on employment and the market will drop 200 points. The next day, even though the same conditions still exist, the market might rebound 300 points. It's all a matter of programmed buy/sell algorithms, and has nothing to do with the real world. 

If you buy stock when the market is at 12,000+ and the bubble bursts, you have no one to blame but your own stupid self.

We are in the midst of a depression folks. The economy is teetering. Why is the fucking market increasing every day? Ponzi! Only one thing will turn the economy around. Jobs. Unemployed people don't buy shit. If you want the economy to turn around, fix joblessness. Once the people have a dime in their pocket, they can't wait to spend it and the economy grows.

Happy Jesus zombie day!

Today, Christians celebrate the day that Jesus crawled up out of his grave and became the world's first documented zombie. His diet remains unrecorded but, based on other zombies, it is safe to assume that he ate the brains of all the bystanders. 

Ironically, an entire town of people without brains greatly enhanced the spread of Christianity.

Christians, even today, still practice satanic rituals where they pretend to eat of Jesus' flesh and drink his blood. Will the zombie carnage never end?
 

Earth Day

Save the Earth? The earth is not in any danger. The earth has been here for billions of years. Man has been here for less than the blink of an eye. 

As man makes the earth more and more poisonous, it is man that will eventually perish. After we have been gone for a few millennium, there will be little evidence that we ever existed. The planet will become fresh and clean again.

It was a cruel trick that evolution produced mankind. An animal driven by greed and conquest. A filthy animal who reproduces at a rate far beyond that which his environment can support. The earth has not been well served by this particular creature. The earth will not miss us.

Texas - Guns for kids

Texas republicans have been trying hard to get more guns into schools. The most recent attempt has been a new law to prevent campuses from prohibiting concealed carry at Texas schools.

The work of the NRA proved successful this week when a 6 year old brought a gun to his kindergarten class. The gun fell from the child's backpack and discharged, injuring the perpetrator and two others. 

The NRA released a statement, "See, if the other 6 year old kids had their own guns, they could have dropped this little motherfucker in his tracks".

When questioned, the child claimed to have purchased the weapon at a gun show.

GOP was driving the bus

The American people seem to have forgotten that the current economic crash was caused by the policies and actions of the republicans. When President Retardo took office, he inherited from Clinton a bustling and prosperous nation. 

Bush and his cronies immediately set about implementing the programs that destroyed this country. They were quite successful.

Republican scumbags try to destroy Medicare

Ever since Medicare was first implemented, republican scumbags have been trying to destroy it. They called it socialized medicine, just like they did with Obama's health care bill. As part of the GOP war on children, women and the aged, they now want to privatize Medicare. Does anyone really thing that turning Medicare over to giant corporations will make it better? No, they will make it better in the same way that deregulating crooked bankers made the economy better.

Understand this: Unfettered capitalism is one of the most evil form of government in the world. The only way that capitalism can work is by making sure that it is heavily regulated. 

When republicans remove regulations, corporations respond with a savage attack on the American people. Corporations have no love of the American way of life. Their only concern is profits and they will lie, cheat and steal to make those profits.
